Getting the Best Deal

Securing an excellent deal on a cruise aboard MSC Euribia involves a combination of good timing, diligent research, and flexibility. Whether you’re an experienced cruiser or setting sail for the first time, these tips and recommendations can help you navigate the booking process to ensure you extract maximum value from your cruise without compromising the quality of your experience.

Book Early or Last Minute: To catch the best deals, consider booking either well in advance or last minute. Early bookings can help you secure early bird discounts, promotional offers, and the best selection of cabins. Alternatively, last-minute bookings can also offer significant savings as MSC Cruises seeks to fill any remaining cabins. This strategy, however, requires you to be flexible with your travel dates and cabin preferences.

Monitor Sales and Promotions: MSC Cruises frequently runs sales and promotions that can include extras like onboard credit, complimentary upgrades, or discounted packages. It’s wise to sign up for the cruise line’s newsletters and follow them on social media to stay updated on the latest deals. Additionally, keeping an eye on reputable travel agents and Sail Away Magazine can alert you to flash sales and exclusive offers and discounts.

Consider Shoulder Season Cruises: The timing of your cruise can greatly influence the price. Opting for shoulder season cruises — the periods just before or after the high season — can provide a perfect balance: you’ll encounter fewer crowds and enjoy lower prices, while still experiencing favourable weather. MSC Euribia offers a variety of itineraries, so researching the optimal times to visit your desired destinations can help identify these cost-effective opportunities.

Explore Different Cabin Options: While a spacious suite with ocean views might be tempting, choosing a lower-category cabin can significantly reduce the overall cost of your cruise. Interior cabins or those with obstructed views still provide the same access to the ship’s amenities and services but come at a much lower price. Remember, the true allure of cruising on MSC Euribia lies in its onboard experiences and the destinations you’ll visit, not merely the cabin type.

Take Advantage of Package Deals: Keep an eye out for package deals that bundle additional perks such as specialty dining experiences, beverage packages, or shore excursions. These packages can offer substantial savings compared to purchasing each element separately. Be sure to evaluate what’s included to ensure it aligns with your preferences and intended activities onboard.

Travel in Groups: Booking as part of a group can unlock special rates and perks unavailable to individual travellers. Whether planning a family reunion, a wedding, or a simple getaway with friends, inquire about group discounts and benefits. These can include onboard credit, complimentary photos, or even a free cabin depending on the size of your group.

Use a Travel Agent: An experienced travel agent can be invaluable in finding the best deals on cruises, often having access to exclusive offers not available to the general public. They can also provide personalized advice based on your preferences, assist with complex bookings, and advocate on your behalf if any issues arise.

By applying these strategies, you can enhance your chances of enjoying a memorable and value-packed cruise aboard MSC Euribia, ensuring that both the journey and the destination meet your expectations.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you book an MSC cruise from the UK, tips will be included in your cruise fare. If you are cruising from a port outside the UK, tips will be charged to your onboard account at around €10 per day ($14 per day). These charges can be adjusted or removed at request, by visiting guest services.

A service charge of 15% is charged to all services onboard, including drinks, speciality dining and spa treatments etc. These cannot be removed!

The dress code varies by dining venue. In the main dining room, evenings are typically classified as either smart casual or gala. Casual nights allow for comfortable, cruise-casual attire, while gala nights require more formal wear (e.g., dresses, suits, or formal trousers). This is one of the best things about MSC Euribia! There are an abundance of activities and things to do to keep families and children occupied. Although some may come at an additional charge.

MSC cruises are not all-inclusive, though they do provide a lot with your base package. This includes your cabin, food, live entertainment, port stops and coffee, tea and water. They don’t include specialty drinks such as soda or alcohol, nor do they include Wi-Fi or any port excursions you’d like to go on. Taxes and port charges are also included.
